Take a look at our wild life page
Here you see P LIngwood From Conwy Parks team help out with the
in the pictures below you will see the start of the development o the site.
Along beach road you will find three large stone benches,
these benches had been vandalized a number of years ago, and so with the area slowly in decline and in need of some work we fell upon the idea, and when I say fell on the idea I mean fell.
As in felling a large Ash tree.
On an inspection a large Ash tree needed to be remove. An agreement was made with Pabo Tree Services that the tree would been felled but re-used (tree-cycled so to speak) the ash tree was felled, transported the mill, cut into planks, returned to site, so that one bench was made fit for use. To finish the project we invited the local school to plant a new Ash tree.
If you ever take a walk down Beach Road you will now see all three of that benches have been re-vamped.
The first one (that’s to the right of the car park) is Ash
The second one (left of the car park) Beach
And the third one being A Maple tree (closest to Station Road) each of the trees have a newly planted corresponding tree i.e. Ash bench = Ash tree
all plant by Pupils from Ysgol Llanddulas so a big thanks to them....
please call back there is still more to come--------
