The Walnut Tree

A powerful symbolic tree

Its said that the Walnut Tree can aid a fresh start in life.

This Tree was a gift to Wynn Gardens from        Mr Roy Bottemly Resident of Old Colwyn,

  Roy meet up with the Parks department on one of the fact sharing days,

Roy donated over £1000 of his own money, this is due to Roy stopping smoking, he put his money to one side until something came along that he wished to invest in,

What an investment. Roy’s trees are all over Old Colwyn.

 The Old Colwyn Federation is a force to be reckoned with

Even the wildlife is someting to be seen

one of the Butterfllies from Tatton  was awarded a gold medal & best in Show at this years Tatton RHS shos 

 attractive planted gardens with mature trees and shrubs and open grassy areas,  now include a Sensory Garden, designed by Conwy County Borough Council’s Environmental Services Department and including a group of sculptures by the Battersea based London sculptor, Joss Smith.
